Molly Scent Discrimination Sept 11, 2023

 I asked Roxanne this morning if I could do a sight unseen set up for Molly to make sure she’s using her nose to do the work and not using visual cues only. She said I could try. I found some lost items at the park this morning to use in the set up. They had lots of different scents on them but not mine. 

Molly was put on a sit/stay on one side of our BBQ. Then I placed the articles on the other side where Molly couldn’t watch the set up. I also used different items with my scent each time. Here’s how it went.

I think she may be using her nose! I hope so anyway. Then she can find me when I get lost 🤣
