PPP was the place to learn new skills for trialing, successfully, in AKC Obedience and AKC Hunt Tests. TTTT (Teach, Train, Test, Title) is the place to prepare to trial successfully.
And WHOA...Ruth continues to noticeably improve with every polish run thru. I have worked so many extra run thru's, with various new 'pseudo female judges' to get Ruth past her sticking point of breaking down in the ring with female judges. We will know next Friday, Sept 8th, when she does a Novice trial, Graduate Novice trial and a Rally Intermediate trial, ALL under the same new female judge. I'll know then if this extra ring work and training Ruth in new locations, environments and with new 'judges' have convinced her it is better to remain in heel position WITH me than to fall apart and freeze in the ring.
