PPP was the place to learn new skills for trialing, successfully, in AKC Obedience and AKC Hunt Tests. TTTT (Teach, Train, Test, Title) is the place to prepare to trial successfully.
We are nearly done with PPP Part 1. This past Sunday we did the 'Proofing the High Jump' exercises. This Sunday, June 18th, Jessi is Lead Instructor and will be doing the same set up for Proofing the Broad Jump. Next Sunday, June 25th, Jessi is Lead Instructor, and the class will be doing ANY exercises needed from PPP Part 1.
Haven't decided if we will have PPP Part 2, Lesson 1 on July 2nd yet. Depends on if everyone is available as it's an important class with new concepts being taught.
Until then, Kim cheering for you and Kara in your obedience trials this week in Idaho. Praying Kara is well enough to finish her Graduate Novice and Open trials AND title in both! I am judging with Lee Whittaker this weekend in SLC, judging a Toller WC/WCX/WCI as well as a Golden WC/WCX/WCI also. Home late Sunday night the 18th, pack the trailer the 19th, head to Idaho for hunt tests 20th-25th with all 4 dogs along for the ride. Won't be heading home until Monday the 26th. Praying Ruth finishes her JH title as well as Redd earns her SH title. It will be VERY interesting to see how this trip turns out.
And then? Onward to PPP: Part 2 (Utility) and Part 2 (Senior Hunter), getting Redd and Ruth ready for August obedience trials in Idaho and starting the SH work with Ruth and Mabel. September 15th, I head to Colorado to judge JH and SH.
Things/life/events are all happening rather quickly-:)
