ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteStays look fine, but why is Kara's chain collar on backwards?
I did not notice it must have happened at show when I took it off to go in ring and when we put it back on.
DeleteHeeling is fine, but relax your left hand holding shoestring with prong. DoR is GOOD! No, she isn't going to be a field dog, but you always work a dog farther than what will be the required distance of the obedience ring. So by only training Kara to do a Go-Out 50', since we know 'Distance erodes Control', under stress and distractions, she won't go-out 50', she will go a shorter distance. Which can cause you and her Gremlins when you get to Utility matches and trials. Do the required 70-80' Go-Out which gives you a safety space for future training. And you will need that extended distance for the Lesson 9 casting.
ReplyDeleteBroad Jump is excellent, man, Kara CAN jump!!
