What made the difference between Session 2 and Session 3 is I have a new Mannerly Puppy student with another field bred Lab. So, during that first lesson, I had Redd demo field work with bumpers and had Ruth demo loose leash heeling, Place (off-leash), and "Fetch" of her bowl and my keys ---in front of that barking field Lab 15-week old puppy. Ruth said, "NO" and received 2 staunch double EC's in front of that barking field Lab puppy and those new students. After that? She did her retrieves perfectly. Lesson learned-:)
