PPP was the place to learn new skills for trialing, successfully, in AKC Obedience and AKC Hunt Tests. TTTT (Teach, Train, Test, Title) is the place to prepare to trial successfully.
so if we go down the hall correction on the why back but not the other way, in the secon video there's not correction either way not sure how to fix this
Loni, dogs do not see the way we see. Please ask me at class on Sunday to show you the enlarged photo I have of HOW we see and the same photo enlarged with HOW a dog sees. They do not sew how we see at all.
The reason she is struggling with going down the hall is her visual perception is quite poor. The lighting is low and you are sending her, visually, into an unknown dark place with a white wall (the door). She can't see clearly and is leery because she may hit that 'white wall'.
Move the Place Board so she can see where you are sending her. Do the Place Boards at work on the sidewalk.
