PPP was the place to learn new skills for trialing, successfully, in AKC Obedience and AKC Hunt Tests. TTTT (Teach, Train, Test, Title) is the place to prepare to trial successfully.
Elk in herds like that is one of my favorite experiences ever. Congratulations. Go back the way they came and see if you can find sheds. (Although you're supposed to have a permit to actually collect them)
